Malaysian Road Tour for Free Educational Workshop and Courses in Engineering!
Focus Applied Technologies will be holding a Malaysian Road Tour for Engineering Institution and Industries around Malaysia. This program will help them and thereby increase their real-world knowledge in engineering.
With pleasure, on 1st November 2012, this program will be held at UniKL, MSI Kulim. The topic that will be discuss is Dynamometry And Engine Testing and also will be presented by Dr.Horizon Gitano who has experience more than 12 years in Engineering. The program will start at 9:30am until 16:30pm.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Nurul Shafina Khairudin Dr.
We are seeking an electrical engineer to help in the design
and fabrication of various engine, dynamometer and mechanical power components.
The engineer will be based in Parit Buntar , Malaysia and may be required to travel various
destinations around South East Asia .
The work will mostly consist of looking up electrical
components, specifying components, designing microcontroller and power
electronic circuits, generation of Gerber files, as well as fabrication and
testing of the circuitry.
The candidate must have the following
capabilities:
- Ability to analyze data on computers (eg. Excell)
- Ability to read and write technical English
- Ability to communicate technical specifications and details effectively
- Ability to travel on his own to international destinations.
- Ability to operate basic shop equipment including power supplies, volt meters and digital oscilloscopes, hand tools, soldering iron.
- Understands power electronics, power FETs, IGBT’s, snubbers and etc.
- Ability to design and program microcontroller circuits for controls and communications
- Familiarity with computer – device communications such as USB, Serial and other communication protocols.
- Basic mechanical skills required for work on vehicles.
Ideally the candidate also has the following capabilities:
- Understands the fundamentals of Internal Combustion Engines
- Is familiar with operation of automotive sensors such as throttle position sensor and crank position sensor
- Has experience doing circuit analysis
- Has experience tuning, adjusting and repairing motorcycles and cars.

We are seeking a mechanical engineer to help in the design
and fabrication of various engine, dynamometer and mechanical power components.
The engineer will be based in Parit Buntar , Malaysia and may be required to travel various
destinations around South East Asia .
The work will mostly consist of looking up mechanical
components, specifying components, creating 3-D and machinists drawings, as
well as fabrication including drilling, welding, grinding, milling and lathe
work.
The candidate must have the following
capabilities:
- Ability to ride clutch motorcycles
- Ability to analyze data on computers (eg. Excell)
- Ability to read and write technical English
- Ability to communicate technical specifications and details effectively
- Ability to travel on his own to international destinations.
- Ability to operate basic shop equipment including power supplies, volt meters and digital oscilloscopes, hand tools, milling machines, lathes, MIG welders.
- Familiarity with computer – device communications such as USB, Serial and other communication protocols.
- Basic mechanical skills required for tuning and adjusting engines and vehicles.
Ideally the candidate also has the following capabilities:
- Understands the fundamentals of Internal Combustion Engines
- Understands power electronics
- Is familiar with operation of automotive sensors such as throttle position sensor and crank position sensor
- Has experience doing stress analysis in a 3-D drawing package
- Has experience tuning, adjusting and repairing motorcycles and cars.
