A Talk With Representatives of ASEAN

Dr. Horizon delivered a presentation on the future of 2-wheeled transportation in South East Asia emphasizing the effects of fuel prices and emissions regulations. In attendance were representatives of ASEAN, the Malaysian Road Transportation Department, SIRIM (Standards Department), Malaysian Institute of Road Safety, Modenas and others including Dato’ Seyed Aidid. 

International MotoXpo 2012

Focus recently demoed various technologies at the International MotoXpo 2012 in Kulala Lumpur, Malaysia. Pictured is Devarajan with our Euro-III/Taiwan 2010 compliant EFI system on a CB125 motorcycle, and a 3kW electric motorcycle. This was a consumer show, but there was a lot of interest in emerging technologies from all the companies present

Training/Seminars

Our training courses and workshops have been delivered around the world to both academia and industry for years. All of our courses are real-world problem based and draw heavily on our own experience as practitioners in the area of engineering, instrumentation, controls, engines and vehicles.

Dr. Horizon Gitano-Briggs has been developing course material for university courses and in response to industry requests. The courses involve theory, calculations, modeling and practical applications as well as live demonstrations. Many of our courses involve practical laboratory exercises. Some of these may be performed at your site with our transportable laboratory equipment, while others need to be scheduled at the University Science Malaysia’s Engine Laboratory for full effect.

Courses can be delivered to small audiences with a per-head charge, or for a flat group discount rate to larger audiences. Pricing depends on the venue, number of participants and equipment involved. Please contact us for a quotation.
